PREFACE

               Saints lived in ancient days established the foundation of the
               ‘TEN-DOU REI-GI’ (decorum or proprieties: REI shall be used in these
               meanings) and consolidated fundamental ethics and morals of
               humankind. All people should be master of general decorum and make
               it the human nature or custom of their own.

               This is a reason why the mankind no less than the heaven and the
               earth has been allowed to play one of three major roles in the Universe.
               And the most significant difference between the mankind and the
               animal is that the former make it a rule to hold good manners and
               morals.

               As it was, according to continual corruption of men’s mind these days,
               it fell out that manners and customs are going to go to the bad
               everywhere in the world.

              It would be our great pleasure notwithstanding these severe situations
               mentioned above that our honorable Teacher, YUMI-NAGA as the 18^th
               Master had established a guiding principle for us how to behave
               ourselves as servants of God.

              Now we are taking a good and urgent chance to recover the ancient
               traditional good morals by ourselves and to make them known to the
               world.

             So we have the honor to inform you that you should not miss the
             opportunity to get a great deal of merits which would be endowed
             from the Heaven without fail according to your effort and
             enthusiasm shown in the services as stated above. We hope you
             would carry about you this handbook and learn the details
             whenever you like or you need.
